1) If oranges weren't orange, what would they be called?


2) Why do we say we are wearing a pair of pants when it's really just one article of colthing? I mean with a pair of socks, there are two seperate socks. With pants it's just on thing, unless the legs are called pants, but then what's the top part called. We dont say we are wearing a pair of sleeves when we put on a shirt?
